Onsite Photography and Video: Creating Studio-Quality Work in Corporate Spaces

Professional photography and video production setup by Indermaur Media inside a corporate hotel boardroom, showing lighting gear, crew, and mobile studio environment.

In this corporate boardroom setup, we created both headshots and video testimonials—all within the same space. With the board table fixed in place, we adapted our lighting and camera setups around it, transforming the room into a functional photo and video studio without ever leaving the site.

In a world full of polished studio work, there’s something exciting—and often more authentic—about working on location. From biotech labs to boardrooms, I’ve built my career not inside a studio, but out in the real world: adapting, problem-solving, and capturing people and places in their natural environments.

While I can always rent a traditional studio when needed, the majority of my photography and video work happens onsite—where your team works, creates, and innovates. That’s where the story lives. That’s where the energy is real.

We transformed this office corner into a polished executive fireside chat setup—using four cameras, several lights, and reflectors to capture a dynamic, high-quality conversation.

Studio-Quality Results in Any Room

Over the years, I’ve created pop-up studios in lobbies, office hallways, hotel boardrooms, and—when we’re lucky—a large room with no furniture. With a white seamless backdrop, a few lighting tricks, and the right equipment, we can make a temporary space look like a high-end photo studio. Clients are often surprised when they see the results and realize it was all done right there, just outside the conference room.

It’s not just about convenience—it’s about flexibility. One biotech client needed headshots of their leadership team, portraits of employees, and photographs of their lab in action. We set up our mobile studio right in their conference room. Between scheduled executive headshots, we documented technicians working in the lab and candid moments around the office. The final images were used across marketing materials, recruitment campaigns, and the company website. They looked unified, professional, and totally on-brand—because one team created it all, with intention.

Our gear is mobile, organized, and ready to roll—this is just a portion of what we brought in for a recent corporate video production in Rhode Island.

Ready to Move. Ready to Adapt

All our gear is designed for mobility—but that doesn’t mean we travel light in the usual sense. We come with the right equipment for the job—whether that’s a few cases for a lean headshot setup or 25 checked bags and a four-person crew flying across the country.

Everything we bring is thoughtfully packed and geared toward location-based work. Our kits are modular, efficient, and built with flexibility in mind. We’re able to pivot quickly, move from one setup to the next, and handle surprises with ease—because that’s what real-world projects demand.

I’ve seen photographers work with just a backpack, one camera, and no lighting. That might suit a certain style or project—and that’s valid. But at Indermaur Media, we expand on that idea. We bring a full toolkit: professional lighting, audio, cameras, modifiers, stands, seamless backdrops, and backups for every critical piece. We don’t cut corners on quality. We don’t hope for ideal conditions. We plan, pack, and perform like pros—because we are.

And honestly? Sometimes it feels like 80% of location photography and video is just moving furniture. But we embrace it—because every light stand repositioned or table rolled out of frame is another step toward visuals that truly represent your brand.

Visual Consistency, One Team

When you hire us for both photography and video, the styles align. That’s by design. We’re not pulling in two different vendors with two different visions. We’re building your brand visually, from headshots to interviews to behind-the-scenes footage. And that consistency builds trust—internally with your team and externally with your audience.
