Grateful to Be Featured: My Interview with Canvas Rebel
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—from photojournalist to corporate storyteller to multimedia producer. It’s been quite a path, and I’ve never really paused to reflect on the full scope of that journey… until now.
Recently, I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Canvas Rebel, an online magazine that shares stories from creatives and entrepreneurs across the country. It was an honor to be featured—and, to be honest, answering their thoughtful questions was more meaningful than I expected.

The conversation touches on how I got started, what I’ve learned from growing a business in creative media, and how I navigate the ever-changing landscape of photography, video, and storytelling. I also shared a few reflections on challenges, balance, and the importance of meaningful collaboration—something that’s always been at the heart of how I work.
One quote that stood out for me:
“I strive to not only tell a compelling story for my clients—but to also make the process feel collaborative, respectful, and stress-free. That’s where trust is built.”
That really does capture what I love most about this work.
This kind of recognition—though I don’t seek it out—is a reminder of how far things have come since those early days with a camera slung over my shoulder and a deadline looming.
Thanks to the Canvas Rebel team for helping share my story. And thanks to all of you—clients, friends, collaborators—who continue to be part of this journey.
If you’re curious about how I work or would like to collaborate on your next project, I’d love to hear from you. Until then, feel free to take a look at the article—and let me know what resonates most for you.
