I was skeptical about the price of the Gregory Alpaca storage boxes when I first saw them at REI. After trying one, I quickly understood the appeal and ended up buying three more.

I use them to organize gear in our Airstream and tools in my truck. The clear lid makes it easy to see what's inside, while the dual-hinge design lets me open the box from either direction or remove the lid completely. That flexibility has been especially useful in the limited storage space of our Airstream.

I've only been using them for a few months, so this is a first-impressions review rather than a long-term durability review. I'll follow up after I've put them through more use.
