Supporting Shopping Local

In the past year, I have worked with companies in many industries to create photography and video. These include Travel, Tech, Bio-Tech, Agriculture, Banking, Biofacturing, Manufacturing, Compliance, Industrial, and various small businesses. These small businesses have a multi-generational hardware store, rug retailer, yoga studios, to name a few. Four years ago, I co-founded Visual Thrive that focuses on Small Businesses - Marketing for Main Street Growth.

It brings me joy to work with these small business owners. I get to hear their story, their goals and then visually capture moments to share their passion. Small Businesses are extremely important to communities.

My passion for small businesses led me to create Visual Thrive, and last year, we started ShopLocalRhodeIsland.com, which became a Multi-vendor marketplace of Rhode Island businesses.

What started as a popular directory of over 2,000 businesses in Rhode Island remains a directory, and now companies can sell their products right in the Marketplace.

Every day our team and I continue to take the Shop Local thinking and grow the Rhode Island Marketplace by improving the Marketplace experience, educating the public on the importance of shopping local, and showcasing small businesses.
